Play responsibly

Spolia is competition, not a paycheck. Keep it fun, stake only what you can comfortably lose, and step away when it stops being fun.

18 and over only

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to play. Spolia is not available everywhere — it's your responsibility to make sure skill-based competition for stakes is permitted in your jurisdiction.

This is skill, not chance — but outcomes still vary

Matches are decided by how you play, not by luck. Even so, you will not win every match, and no result is ever a sure thing. Never stake money you need for rent, bills, or essentials, and never chase a loss by staking more to win it back.

Set your own limits

  • Decide before you play how much you're willing to stake in a session — and stick to it.
  • Take breaks. If you're playing angry or tired, log off.
  • Keep it social. Competition should feel good, not stressful.

Signs it's not fun anymore

Playing longer or for higher stakes than you meant to, hiding it from people close to you, borrowing money to play, or feeling anxious about it — these are signs to stop. There's no shame in stepping away.
